We use “Google reCAPTCHA” (hereinafter “reCAPTCHA”) on this website. The provider is Google Cloud EMEA Limited, 70 Sir John Rogerson's Quay, Dublin 2, Ireland.
reCAPTCHA is intended to prevent data entry on this website (e.g., in a contact form) by a human or an automated program. To this end, reCAPTCHA analyzes the behavior of the website visitor based on various characteristics. This analysis begins automatically as soon as the website visitor enters the website. For the analysis, reCAPTCHA evaluates various pieces of information (e.g., IP address, the website visitor's time spent on the website, or mouse movements purchased by the user). The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google.
The reCAPTCHA analyses run entirely in the background. Website visitors are not notified that an analysis is taking place.
Role and Data Processing: We use reCAPTCHA as the sole controller. Google Cloud EMEA Limited acts as our data processor and processes the data on the basis of a data processing agreement (Cloud Data Processing Addendum). Google is contractually prohibited from using the data for its own purposes, such as improving its own services or for advertising.
The storage and analysis of the data is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. We have a legitimate interest in protecting our website from abusive automated delivery and spam. If consent has been requested, processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, Article 6(1)(a) GDPR, and Section 25(1) of the German Telemedia Act (TDDG), insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information on the user's device as defined in the TDDG. Consent can be withdrawn at any time.
