Cincon’s open frame AC/DC switching power supply modules offer a flexible platform for industrial, ITE, 5G telecom and medical applications. The portfolio covers connector type, baseplate-cooled and PCB-mount versions with power levels from 6 W up to 500 W, delivering some of the highest power densities currently available.
All products are approved to the latest ITE or medical safety standards, with selected models additionally meeting EN/IEC 60335-1 for household-related applications.
Mechanical formats and power range
Cincon’s open frame range includes:
- On-board / PCB-mount modules for direct integration on the system PCB
- Connector-based open frame versions for easy wiring and service access
- Baseplate-cooled designs for conduction cooling and fanless systems

Cincon also provides medical open frame AC/DC power supplies in three categories:

200% peak load for dynamic applications
Some of Cincon’s latest open frame models feature a 200% peak load capability:
- Short-term power peaks (e.g. motor start, inrush, or transient loads) can be handled without oversizing the nominal rating
- System designers can avoid over-specified power supplies, saving cost and PCB footprint while still covering peak load requirements
This makes the portfolio particularly attractive for equipment with dynamic loads and tight space constraints.
