COSEL Launches DCS Series – High Voltage Power Modules for Demanding Applications
FORTEC Switzerland is proud to share the latest innovation from our partner COSEL: the new DCS Series – a high-performance, conduction-cooled DC/DC converter platform designed for high-voltage DC input environments.
Developed as the next generation of the successful DBS series, the DCS power modules deliver up to 1400 W in a Full Brick configuration, with outstanding power density and thermal performance.
Key Product Highlights
- Unmatched Power Density: Up to 2x higher than COSEL's previous models – the highest power density in its class (self-investigation).
- Ultra-Wide Input Range: Operates from 200 to 435 VDC – suitable for smoothed single-phase and three-phase AC inputs. Tolerates peaks up to 500 VDC in unstable conditions.
- Versatile Output Functions: Output voltage adjustable down to approx. 0 V, constant current and constant voltage modes, parallel operation with up to 12 modules, remote control support
- Extended Temperature Capability: Operates from –40 °C to +100 °C (baseplate), ideal for harsh thermal environments.
- Certified and Ready for Global Deployment: UL62368-1, EN62368-1, CE-marked, RoHS compliant
