Compact 600 W Power For Demanding Industrial Applications
Cincon introduces the CFM600S Series, a high-performance 600 W AC/DC power supply designed for space-constrained and thermally demanding industrial and ITE applications. With integrated Power Factor Correction (PFC) and a compact 3" × 5" footprint, the series delivers class-leading power density combined with exceptional thermal flexibility.
The CFM600S operates from a universal AC input range of 80 to 264 Vac and is available with multiple single-output voltage options, covering common industrial supply requirements.
Flexible Design For Class I And Class II Systems
The CFM600S Series is engineered for both Class I and Class II applications and is certified according to IEC/EN/UL 62368-1 (3rd Edition). In addition, the design meets the requirements of IEC/EN 60335-1, making it suitable for a broad range of industrial and household-related systems.
To support different mechanical and thermal concepts, the series is available in multiple configurations:
- Baseplate-cooled (fanless)
- Covered version
- Integrated fan version
Integrated system signals such as Remote On/Off, Power Good, a +5 V standby output, and a +12 V fan supply simplify system control and auxiliary power distribution.
High Efficiency And Outstanding Thermal Performance
With a power density of up to 25.97 W/in³, the CFM600S sets a new benchmark in its class. Depending on the cooling concept, the power supply delivers:
- Up to 510 W with natural convection
- Full 600 W with conduction cooling or forced air
Efficiency reaches up to 94.5%, while no-load power consumption remains below 1 W, supporting energy-efficient system designs. The series also features low inrush current and low earth leakage current, enhancing system safety and reliability.
Designed for harsh environments, the CFM600S operates over a wide temperature range from –40 °C to +85 °C and supports operation at altitudes of up to 5,000 m.
Comprehensive Protection And EMC Compliance
The CFM600S Series integrates a full set of protection mechanisms, including:
- Overcurrent protection (OCP)
- Overvoltage protection (OVP) with latch-off
- Overtemperature protection (OTP)
- Continuous short-circuit protection
Compliance with EN 55032 Class B, FCC Part 15 Class B, and EN 61000-3-2 Class A/C ensures reliable operation in electrically sensitive environments.
