Cincon Expands MIL-STD-461 Offerings with New MF EMI Filter Modules

FORTEC Switzerland, together with Cincon, presents the new MF10 and MF20 EMI filter modules – a significant extension of Cincon’s MIL-STD-461-compliant portfolio for demanding defense and aerospace applications.

Following the success of last year’s M2-grade DC/DC converters (30 W–300 W), Cincon now introduces a compact, integrated filtering solution to simplify EMI compliance for systems exposed to harsh environments and strict EMC standards.

Designed for MIL-STD-461 (F, G) Compliance

Cincon’s new MF filter modules are specifically engineered to help system designers meet electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) standards in line with MIL-STD-461. Key categories addressed:

  • CE (Conducted Emissions)
  • CS (Conducted Susceptibility)
  • RE (Radiated Emissions)
  • RS (Radiated Susceptibility)
These standards are critical for maintaining reliable performance in defense electronics exposed to complex electromagnetic environments.

Seamless Integration with Cincon DC/DC Converters

The MF10D and MF20D filters integrate directly with selected Cincon converters, such as the CQB150W-24S24, offering a ready-to-use EMI solution for:

  • Avionics systems
  • Ground defense vehicles
  • Industrial equipment with high EMI sensitivity
  • Harsh environmental conditions
With support for case temperatures from –55 °C to +110 °C, these filters are rugged, compact, and designed to minimize external filtering components—streamlining both design effort and system complexity.

Proven EMI Performance

In testing with the CQB150W-24S24, the MF20D075P successfully passed CE102 conducted emissions per MIL-STD-461 requirements using Cincon’s recommended circuit layout.
Cincon also conducts HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing) and in-house EMC testing, reducing development time and increasing system reliability from the start.
