Open frame power supplies for LED lighting, video wall displays, entertainment systems, and industrial applications need to deliver high output power reliably across a wide range of ambient conditions - while fitting within compact enclosures where height and footprint constraints are tight. 

The Inission Power DDP520 meets these requirements in a 3.0" × 5.0" × 1.5" (76.2 × 127 × 38.5 mm) open frame package. Delivering 460 W with forced-air cooling and a sustained 340 W under natural convection, it achieves up to 95.5% efficiency across its output voltage range and covers a wide -40 °C to +70 °C ambient temperature operating range. A universal AC input spanning 90–305 V AC covers all global mains voltages, including industrial 277 V single-phase supplies, without any input switching or reconfiguration.

Wide Output Voltage Range for Maximum Application Flexibility 

The availability of 24 V, 36 V, 48 V, and 56 V output variants within a single mechanical platform gives the DDP520 a practical versatility across different system architectures. LED lighting designs increasingly favour 48 V and 56 V DC bus voltages for their efficiency advantages over 24 V distribution at high power levels, while industrial and ATM applications often require 24 V or 36 V. By covering all four common output voltages within one form factor, the DDP520 allows system designers and procurement teams to standardise on a single open frame platform across multiple product lines. 

The combination of Power Good signalling, Remote On/Off control, and Remote Sense compensation further supports integration into systems with distributed load points or where precise output voltage at the load terminal is required regardless of cable resistance.
